Orders

The “Orders” page provides a table listing all the orders reported by Amazon across your accounts with Business Analytics enabled. It also offers the functionality to view the estimated values even before the actual transaction details are reported.

The “Orders” page can be accessed in two ways:

  • SELLERLOGIC Homepage > Business Analytics | Orders
  • Business Analytics navigation bar > Orders

Page settings

The “Orders” page header offers a range of settings for filtering and configuring the content displayed on the "Orders" page: “Group/Account”, “Marketplace”, “Date range”, “Currency”, and “Edit groups”. To learn more about page settings, see Business Analytics | Page settings.

Table fields

Below is a table listing all fields available on the "Orders" page, along with their respective descriptions. Please note, that the “Orders” table displays a list of individual order items included within the orders. Consequently, a single order, identified by its unique order number, may appear in multiple rows within the table to represent its distinct items. Key information such as “Order status” and “Order date” applies to the entire order, while other columns contain data specific to each individual order item.

Order number The unique order number assigned by Amazon, with a direct link to the order page on Amazon Seller Central. Live search
Order status The current status of the order as reported by Amazon, which can be one of the following: “Shipped”, “Canceled”, “Invoice unconfirmed”, “Pending”, “Pending availability”, “Unfulfillable”, “Unshipped”, or “Partially shipped”. Dropdown list
Order date The date when the order was created, as reported by Amazon. Date picker
Amazon account name The name of the Amazon account associated with the product. Dropdown list
Marketplace The Amazon marketplace where the product is listed. Dropdown list
ASIN The Amazon Standard Identification Number (ASIN) is a 10-digit alphanumeric product identification number with a link to the product page on Amazon. One ASIN may cover several SKUs. Live search
SKU The Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) is the unique alphanumeric code used by Amazon to identify a product for inventory and sales purposes. On rare occasions, two different marketplaces may have the same SKU. Live search
Image The image of the product as received from Amazon.
Title The name or a short description of the product as received from Amazon. Live search
Product ID The unique identifier assigned to each product within Business Analytics for reference purposes. Live search
Brand The name or label under which the product is marketed. Live search
Product Type The category of the product based on its characteristics or intended use. Live search
Manufacturer The entity responsible for producing or assembling the product. It can be different from the brand if the product is made by a third-party manufacturer on behalf of the brand. Live search
Condition The condition of the product as received from Amazon. Dropdown list
Fulfillment method

Indicates which fulfillment method is applied to the product:

  • FBA: Fulfillment by Amazon;
  • FBM: Fulfillment by merchant.

Offer type

Indicates which commerce type is applied to the product offer:

  • B2C: business-to-consumer offer;
  • B2B: business-to-business offer.

Unit price The product price per unit. Live search
Units The number of product units. Live search
Revenue The total income generated by the order. Live search
Promotion The amount spent on promotions for the order. Live search
Amazon fees All Amazon fees applied to the order as expenses. Live search
Other expenses All expenses applied to the order, excluding "Amazon fees" and "Promotion" values. Live search
Estimated profit The estimated profit generated by the order, calculated as revenue minus total expenses. Live search
Refunded units The number of product units refunded for the order. Live search

Tip: The date and time of the last update of the “Orders” page by the latest order transactions are always shown in the upper right corner of the page.

Table options

Each column header provides “Ascending” and “Descending” sorting options as well as individual filtering of data upon a click on the column header filters as provided in the table above.

The “Table settings” and “Table content” buttons, located at the lower right of the page, enable you to customize the view and content of the page table. The “Table content” modal form allows you to manage the columns of the table, by changing their respective order or visibility status. The “Export results” button, represented as an up arrow icon at the top right of the page, enables the export of all fields with data from the first table page. By clicking this button, you can export up to 100 table rows in CSV, XLS, or XLSX file formats.

Estimated values

Business Analytics allows you to view estimated data for your orders, providing insights into numbers before actual transaction details are received. These precise estimates are generated based on Amazon reports and user-defined costs and fees. Orders with estimated values can be distinguished from those with confirmed transactions by the exclamation icon displayed at the beginning of the corresponding table line. To view actual transactions that occurred across your account(s), go to the "Transaction" page.

Order details

To explore the details of an order and related information, click on the “Order details” button with an eye icon located at the beginning of the relevant table line. This will open the “Order details” modal form, which contains the following information:

Last update: Indicates the date and time when Amazon reported the latest information about the selected order.

Summary

This section provides general information about the current order such as Amazon account name, order number with a link to the order on the Amazon Seller Central page, order date, status, offer type, marketplace, and “Sales total”, which represents the sale amount in both the original currency and the one defined by the “Currency” settings in the “Orders” page header.

Products

This section contains the main information about the products within the current order such as product title, ASIN, SKU, price per unit, the number of units in the order, fulfillment method, and order status.

Order breakdown

The fields in this section provide a detailed breakdown of all transactions related to the order under the “Revenue” and “Expenses” categories. It further breaks them down into subcategories to provide a detailed view of each financial event applied to the order. This includes both data reported by Amazon and manually added costs from the “Product costs” and “Indirect costs” pages.

The “Order breakdown” section also calculates the key performance indicators (KPIs) based on the data provided for the order, such as estimated profit, margin (the percentage of the net profit in the revenue), and the ratio of net profit over the total expenses (ROI).

Amazon fees breakdown

To see a detailed breakdown of all Amazon fees applied for the order item, locate the relevant order item in the table and click on its value in the “Amazon fees” column. This will open the “Amazon fees breakdown” modal form.

The “Amazon fees breakdown” modal form allows you to see the amount of each fee, as well as the total fee amount charged for the order item. Fee categories vary based on the actual transactions applied for the order.

Other expenses breakdown

To see a detailed breakdown of all costs applied for the order item, locate the relevant order item in the table and click on its value in the “Other expenses” column. This will open the “Other expenses breakdown” modal form.

The “Other expenses breakdown” modal form allows you to see the amount of each cost as well as the total expenses charged for the order item. The categories of expenses vary based on the data received from Amazon or manual import. Costs added manually on the “Product costs” and “Indirect costs” pages are displayed here as well.

Please note, that the information provided in the form does not include the “Amazon fees” and “Promotion”.

Note: If the “Amazon fees” or “Other expenses” columns display N/A, it indicates that the values are not provided, and these modal forms are disabled for that order.
