The “Privacy” page serves as a central location for accessing the Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with SELLERLOGIC GmbH. This DPA is designed to ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) when processing customer data through SELLERLOGIC services. To access the page navigate to SELLERLOGIC navigation bar | Gear icon > Privacy.
What is a DPA?
The Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is a legally binding document that establishes the terms and conditions governing the processing of personal data between the data controller and the data processor (SELLERLOGIC GmbH). It defines the scope, purpose, and responsibilities related to data processing activities. Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), data controllers are required to ensure that all data processing activities are carried out in strict compliance with GDPR regulations.
Sign the DPA
When enabling any SELLERLOGIC service for the first time through the setup wizard, you will encounter a prompt to sign the Data Processing Agreement (DPA). Alternatively, even if you have not enabled any SELLERLOGIC services, you have the option to sign the DPA contract directly on the 'Privacy' page. To sign the DPA and ensure GDPR compliance, follow these steps:
- Read the terms and conditions of the DPA.
- Provide consent by selecting the checkbox labeled “I confirm that I have read the data processing contract and agree to it”.
- Click the "Confirm" button signifying your consent to the terms and conditions outlined in the Data Processing Agreement.
Download the DPA
Once you have confirmed your agreement to the DPA, the "Download" option will become available. This option allows you to download a copy of the signed Data Processing Agreement in PDF file format for your records.
